i have always been impressed with the brembo brakes on RS bike untill my last ride. situation 80+ mph light turns and i stomp the breaks the brakes bite and speed starts to drop however the stop marker is still approaching to fast for a controlled stop more pressure still to much monentium Oh Crap time cop at the intersection more pressure on the brakes and waiting for the ABS to start but it dose not.. well at this point i am in the interscection and stopped and the cop gives me the blue eye monster wink and takes off.

what a dissapointment ...

here are the facts and tell me were to go at this point..
brake pads are OEM records so no replacement of the pads 32k on odo
front brake system flushed and bled with new DOT 4 fliud.
rear system still stock..

thanks

Try some EBC double H sintered pads and stainless hoses - works a treat.

I felt my front brakes not good yesterday, and saw the pads.
The ones in the right was very weared, and OK, let's change them!
But, after bleeding the circuit, the discs were locked by the pads....
OK, let's put the air bubbles off the system, but the front wheel didn't want to turn free!! Mad Mad
Maybe the pistons were locked? Dirt in the pistons?
Let's dismantle the calipers:
- the right brake hose has delaminated inside, so, the brake fluid didn't "go back", making some type of a valve, allowing only the "handlebar>caliper" way.... Sad
Final:
- My KLT is again in the shop, and I ordered a complete stainless steel braided lines for my bike, 4 front and 1 rear. Neutral
I already suspected that 14 years hoses were tired of so much pressure and hard work! I must have changed then before, in the cluch service.
Guilherme.
