Here, in Austin, it didn't even rain. The wind was up some yesterday, and we sure could use the rain. The storm's track was too far east of us. Just a lot of evacuees headed here.
My mom and sister in the Houston area didn't evacuate and came through fine. Tree branches down but nothing major.

Thanks for asking, FD. I live in the Houston area along with most of my family. Everyone stayed home except me, I have been at my work location since last Thursday monitoring our telecom equipment and generator. We have been on generator power since midnight Friday. Since the storm, most of my family has left to stay with others since the power is out and it could take 1-2 weeks before its restored. I have a report that my house is OK. _________________ Carl |
