Need help on were to put this vent lines and caps.

2 nipples side by side.

It's hard to see but there is a T in that line. Should it go into the rubber hose bent in a 90, and a open end of a second hose. Also how do I drain the tank?

OK Jim, where do I buy this air accumulator. Can't find it, even with a Google search.

Another option is to call Morton's Tuesday (closed Monday) and ask them to mail it to you to keep the shipping costs down.

The bmw part # is: 16 13 2 307 467 It usually sells for less than $5.00.

"If your problem is the fuel tank isn't venting correctly, it is probably the one-way valve or the hose which directs FUMES OR RAW FUEL DIRECTLY INTO YOUR CRANKCASE. To solve the vent problem, do the following.
1. Order an "air accumulator", part number 16 13 2 307 467.
2. Lift the rear of the fuel tank, being careful not to scratch the tank on glovebox mounts, etc. On the right side, you see 2 spigots close together, each with hoses attached.
3. Remove the hoses from the spigots.
4. Plug the hose with the plastic valve in it or remove the hose and plug the fitting into the crankcase.
5. Mount the air accumulator in the frame directly below the spigots.
6. Attach the other hose (not the one with the plastic valve) to the drain spigot of the air accumulator. It should end somewhere behind the right footpeg.
7. Replace the fuel tank onto its mounts.
8. If your filler cap has not had a flapperectomy, give it one now. You can now put another half gallon of fuel into the tank.
9. RIDE. Your tank vent problems should be history.
I've done the above to my K1100LT and all three K75's and have had no more fuel tank venting issues!" Mick McKinnon

I somehow found this write up on some old bmw list serve from '04
