Ok so Drake set me up with a tranny. (much love)

To keep costs down, I am buying the parts needed for the swap, including the clutch job...mechanic is just doing the actual labor.

Ok what I need:

The exact part #s of what I need for:

1. Tranny swap
2. Clutch job
3. Drake said something about clutch nut O ring. #?

I struck out on the fairing bracket, so I think I am going to reweld it and hope for the best.

Thanks in advance.

Last 7 digits of your VIN please, to get the right parts diagram/list.

Feck bike is in the shop and my main computer is down.

It's a first-gen 93 LT.

Well, here's what I came up with.

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=0536&mospid=47926&btnr=21_0073&hg=21&fg=05

Clutch disk:
05 CLUTCH PLATE 1 21211464795
08 HEX NUT M20X1,5 1 11211460797
09 COMPRESSION RING 1 11211460696
11 O-RING 19X4 1 11211460456

I've not pulled a swing arm off so I don't know what you really need to replace but I might suggest that you at least inspect these parts. Drake or someone else might have a better idea of what really should be replaced.
I have read where some have used brass bushing's instead of bearings, or maybe it was the other way around.

04 TAPERED ROLLER BEARING 40X17X17 2 33171241546
11 NEEDLE BEARING 10X32X17 2 33172311091
03 RUBBER BOOT 1 33171454552
14 RUBBER BOOT 1 33171452504

Anyone else please chime in if I missed something.

That's what this is for: http://micapeak.com/reg/bikes/K11LT/

You can find your serial number from any computer....

I used to pull out the renewal copy of my insurance policy that has them listed on it.
But now I have the numbers written down inside the cover of my Clymer book.

That site only works if you've entered your bike's data in it before.

Your VIN should be on your title.

It's easier for me to find the VIN on Micapeak than it is to find the title...
