I'm seriously looking at the Aeroflow, but I was wondering what other options are out there. I've seen Cee Bailey mentioned a few times, and I had one of their units on my Concours, but it look slike they only make one for the LT.
I'm looking for something tall, that provides a decent pocket. _________________ 1993 K1100RS

Aeroflow makes the popular choice for most of the RS guys that go that route.

Cee Baileys makes two styles in many heights for the LT. When I replace my current parabellum, I'll probably give a Cee Baileys screen a shot.
You have considerably fewer options with http://www.parabellum.com but I've been happy with my +2.5. All the way down gets some air in my face and most of the way up gets the top of the shield out of the sight line and provides excellent blockage.
To get to the LT screen, scroll down in the left most frame to Replacement Windscreens: Click BMW.
On page 2 I think it is, you'll find the K1100LT Electric. _________________ M N B

I'd advise against going with the Laminar Lip. IMO it's not much better, if any, than just having the OEM deflector positioned all of the way forward.
My advice: Just leave it stock. I've ridden thorugh cold heavy rain for HOURS(probably less the Shogs though) on my RS and with a fleece neck gaiter it's fine IMO. As long as your helmet is good, it's not that big of a deal. Plus it doesn't "ruin" the lines of the stock RS fairing.
It may sound strange but I actually prefer riding the RS in bad weather over the LT.
But, if you want the best protection then I think the Aeroflow would be the way to go.

Get the Aero Flow if you want easy off when the weather is warm, look at the Parabellum if you don't need the easy off & on or worry about theft as all that hols on the Aero Flow is velcro. Well actually I use my own pattern of 3M inter lock. Like super velcro.
With the Aero Flow on my bike I can ride with my helmet shield half up even this morning at 32 degrees and NOT get wind in my face at ANY speed. Tested to 120 indicated.
Almost bought the Parabellum, but then that bike got crushed and my new to me ride came with an Aero Flow.
I removed their BIG sticker too and it looks much better I think with out it.
Added bonus as it protects the head light lens to boot! _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Is it the regular or the tall? If it's the tall, then DIBS!
I probably won't have the dosh for one until then anyway, I gotta get a heated jacket and some pilot IIs first. _________________ 1993 K1100RS

Aeroflow. Made a HUGE difference. With it on we ride in a pocket of stll air- makes using the intercom possible. I can also ride with my shield up. Plus, great in cold weather, have used it down to 22 degrees (no way would I last for more than a few minutes at 70mph without it at those temps)
Like that it comes off instantly for hot weather or shorter one-up rides.
BTW, tried the Laminar Lip. Waste of money.

Cooler looking bike hands down, same performance, more wind in yer face when the weather allows.
I do at times get jealous of all the dash space & room for add on's, but I get over it. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Thye don't have the same performance. The RS will do 0-60 in 3.7 seconds - 4.3 or the LT. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Not really. I travel with a K11LT rider. My bike is faster than his on the top end. _________________ 2000 R1100RT

OK OK OK OK we know that.
I was trying to be gracious to the LT brotherhood.
Now I gotta say it / type it.
The RS looks cooler and IS faster than the LT.
Oh geeze, I hope I just didn't start a thread war. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

They're different bikes or different riders. I like 'em both.
I've asked myself which one I'd sell if I could only have one bike. Never came up with an answer. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Acually, I've never really liked the looks of the RT/LT K bike fairing. But when I was looking to get back into riding after a few years off, I was determined to get another K75. I actually wanted a K75S but I was in "I need a bike right now" mode and I found a K75RT that only had 6,700 miles on it and was a nice dark blue.
I hadn't really planned on it but then I really got into touring and appreciated the fairing (aside rom trapping heat). Good protection, comfortable and good for riding without a helmet.
Then when I dumped my K75RT and decided I was better off not claiming insurrance and just parting it out, I was looking for another K75RT. But I saw a K1100LT on IBMWR in MT with only 13,900 miles on it. I think the green color is ugly but I cared more about miles. And when I rode it it was like a K75 on steroids , not to mention how great the windscreen is. Bottom line: I think my green LT is kind off ugly but I care more about riding than looks and I really enjoy riding it.
I always drooled over the Mystic Red RS bikes and had seller's remorse after selling my K100RS4V so when I got the chance to get a good deal on a red K1100RS I lept at it. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

UH OH HWGA!
Didn't get an LT because of those HUGE handlebars. Figure in 15 or 20 years I'll need those, but not now (I'm only 53).

Ya' know- until you mentioned it, I never noticed it- really.
But now it looks like it will be a low setting heat gun victim this weekend.
However, the heat I take for my last post may be enough.........

One of the nicest Motobricks I have seen is Gary Bennets avatar.
That blood red combined with the angle of the bike and the sun....absolutely gorgeous. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006
