Wow, that is a sweet old K, not too far from me, but alas, I don't have 8k sitting around and it would be a bit redundant of my current K, although cleaner and nicer.
The mechanic mentioned in that listing is the same guy who has my gas tank doing the sealing on it. Funny to hear such an unusual name twice within a week...small world. _________________ Steve

Wow - that is a very nice bike. Too bad I don't need a second bike - and I don't have the money to buy it! _________________ Jim

I looked at it this morning the bid is up to 5200. The happy owner will soon be on this forum. _________________ Jim

I've got a K1100LT speedometer with only 6700 miles on it in my spares in the basement. Maybe I'll pop that on my LT and put it on eBay. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

The one with 25 miles on it is up to $5,600 (reserve not met) and has 2 days left. I wonder what that will go for..... _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I like this selling point.

Unlike early 4-cylinder inline BMW K100 engines, the 16 valve 1-litre was a very peppy engine without compromising low-end torque. Enthusiasts today prefer the early-1990s K100 to the mid-1990s 1100 as this engine tends to rev more quickly, getting the rider to the point of peak power that much more quickly |
