I just got one of these headlamps for camping, and Have started using it in the garage. It is fantastic, I have been using a normal flashlight/ droplight combo and this is so much better. I am not going to post a dorky picture of myself wearing it, but gotta tell you it is very handy. I am going to keep it in my tankbag from now on. It has 3 brightness levels and a strobe function (not very useful in the garage). I loaded it with 3 rechargeable AAA's and it has worked well for about an hour. Then it starts to dim.

As the eyes get older having light right where I am looking is fantastic. Just be prepared to be harrassed if anyone sees you wearing it. I think it was like $35
