Hi Guys,

The new shocker I've been involved in developing in the UK is finally in production and the first batches have been sold, including the K11 model.

From the feedback, the only item that requires attention is the C Spanner provided with the kit.

As it doubles up as the gearbox oil level dipstick, it has been suggested that the stock C spanner supplied is modified to include this feature.
The manufacturers have responded positively and the next batch will have this modification.

Question to the knowledgeable - are all the Kay levels the same?

I have a K100RS which measures 115mm from the locating shoulder to the max level. Unfortunately my k11 came without a spanner/dipstick - and although I'm fairly certain about the K75, I need to be sure before I pass the info. on.

The dipstic for my 1100LT, which is not the spanner, measures 115mm also.

Hi Scott,

Many thanx for your prompt response - hey, maybe that's why I couldn't find a C Spanner in my K11RS toolkit dooohhh. Rolling Eyes

Rydor, regrettably I am the original computer dummy Embarassed - what is it you want exactly? I don't want to upset any protocols here.

After the previous furore, I'm a bit loathe to post anything here, but Realm stand behind their original 10% discount offer. the shox have been well received both here in the UK and in Europe and the first batch has been sold out. Also, a lot of interest from South Africa and New Zealand - must be the rough roads !!! Laughing

Back to the spanner - I take it that it would be an advantage to have a dual tool in the K11 tool kit? I'll pass this info. on to the manufacturers this pm so that the next batch can be made to suit use as a dipstick.

If Sterling falls much more against the US dollar and the Euro - these will become a serious bargain. Wink

Thanx again to those who have helped and contributed, it's much appreciated.

TJ

I think the kits for the older bikes had a longer handle on the spanner which was marked for the oil level. All 3 of the tool rolls that I have now (post 93) have a shorter handle on the spanner tool and then added a seperate dipstick for the tranny level.

I think he is like the rest of us, a internet link where we could go to research and/or buy online?
