Nice going. A man can't have enough toys! ($1,900)

The XR was my first choice but the extra $1,000 for the same year AND the 37" seat height was a deal killer.

Nice Mike! The DR was my second choice.

The XR had all of the farkles I was looking for at a great price.

Next up:
Heated grips
Accessory outlet for GPS
Small windshield.
Shocks tuned for my fat ass.

Sweet XR, just the type of bike I'm looking for as my second bike.

Not sure if it would suffice as a first bike, especially for a daily user.

Where's the Misses going to sit?

Have fun and don't get too dirty!

What kind of farkles? I'm curious. because I"m going finsh my project K75S this spring, sell it and use some of the proceeds to pick up probably a DR650. I won't be doing serious dirt because I like my bones but want something to explore Foresst Srvice Roads and run in town errands.

Drake check what comes on the bike already....

Desmogged/uncorked
Bash plate
Better carb
Bigger tank
Higher rise bars
Full exhaust system.
Gel seat.
Hand/lever guards

Basically comfort and performance.

A DR will have more electrical options than my XRR though as mine is a dirt bike converted to street use.

Dave - you'll probably have to look at the high altitude mods that were done to the bike and figure out which ones you'll have to undo.
