Well since I am going bluetooth I am selling my Garmin Quest and Touratech mount. The Quest is waterproof, is battery powered and made for a motorcycle. I have had no problems seeing it in the sun and it is in excellent condition.
This is a great way to get into a GPS without a huge expense.
Here is what it comes with.
Garmin Quest
All CDs
padded case
AC-DC adapter charger
USB adapter
Car mount with power supply and speaker
Touratech lockable mount with modified 12 volt power supply from bike
A bent piece of aluminum rod so you can mount it as I did on my bike if you want to.
I am looking for $290 shipped
Rich

Very tempting.
How big is the display?
Is it touch screen? _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

specs: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=135&pID=213#specsTab
Not touch screen - notice the buttons to the right of the display. Garmin still lists the Quest for $450.00. The quest was made for motorcycles - waterproof and audio out. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=135&pID=213
The buttons aren't a problem - my old SPIII has buttons - use it all the time on the road - with gloves on.
That's a nice setup at a decent price. _________________ Jim

Yeah, I especially like the mount, although I am inclined to go with something cheaper and easily removable...I work sometimes in "not so nice" areas and like to strip off any bling the bike may have. That mount while stout will not stop someone from just ripping the entire thing off the bike.
Going to go with a cheaper Magelleon setup mate, good luck selling...list it on IBMWR, should sell fast...or bump the price up 50-75$ more and put it on CL/Motorcycles. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

No Problem. The gps actually comes out really easy and it is pretty rock solid. I'll probably just throw it n e-bay to start. _________________ Rich
