The sun shines the road beckons and its been two weeks since you took the bike out . So open the garage door wheel out the poser Brick turn the key press the button and a sluggish starter struggles to turn the engine over no hope of a ride. Switch bikes 13 year old K1100RS with old Lead acid battery last run out 3 weeks ago as we had snow and Ice press the button roars into life. So we had a great ride after all.
Morel of the story Modern batteries made to keep the GREENS happy need replacing more often than Lead Acid batteries that are 13 years old.
So I hate Gel Batteries and the Greens

so you have a motobrick and a poserbrick...
i see the motobrick is the worlds most elegant mototouring machine... the k1100rs...
what be the poserbrick... a k1200s...

In my opinion Motobrick the best bike ever built by BMW used by me and Ballast (wife) since new for touring for ten years its now retired and reserved for runs around UK only Poserbrick now doing all runs to Europe due to go to Spain/France twice this year and France Belgium Holland for long week end for MotoGP in Assen. he return trip for assen will be 650 miles in one day two up . Did it last year and Ballast loved it so the poserbrick is almost as good as the Motobrick. When on my own can do 850 miles a day. But it still can not out do the Motobrick as the power deliver on the K1100rs is so useable.
