I’d like to poll the assembled multitudes for ideas of making my 95 ‘LT ride cushier.
The L4/L5 disk is collapsing in my back, so a lot of bouncing is pretty painful. My limit right now is the 32-mile run to work, and I can see how that might get much more difficult before I finally get the vertebrae fused to fix the problem (maybe this winter).
I’m thinking along lines of 5-wt fork oil and maybe progressive fork springs in the front and low preload setting in the back.
Any other ideas out there? |

You might call Works and ask them what they suggest for a rear shock. They might be able to build one that would do the trick. Seems to me that the rear is the most important for cush. Their front springs actually were firmer when I installed them but I am using 10wt oil. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT
