Hello!

I have a strange rattle in the left side of the engine, near clutch area. It goes away when the engine warms up.
The bike is K1100 RS 1995, 90 000 kms on the clock. It could be the engine output shaft, yet it is a new type of driving gear. I also suspect the alternator rubber damper (I hope that it is the reason).
Any suggestions?

Best regards,

Yep.. did you pull the alternator? That's the noise right? I had that problem last month due to removing the tranny to check the spline and relube... then the bike rattled at start and stop... Sooo pulled the ABS and battery and alternator...
