This is it how to be pig sick. This weekend in the UK is four days Holiday. So this morning I said to my wife lets go to the lakes for 3days . so booked hotel for two nights. Which bike should we take Love of my life and she replied take the Poser Brick. So we set out on it and left old faithfullaAt home. 90 Miles later into filing station top up tank try and restart and nothing starter strugles to turn engine over. Try again and same feeble effort from starter. So check connections without result. After a while car pulls up and wants to help he dissapears and returns with battery and jump leads engine fires up. brakedown service turns up and feels that there is a problem with battery. By this time too late to go on as still 200 miles to go, plans destroyed only thing to do is to try and make it home. Arrive home only to see K1100rs looking very smug in the garage. So thats how to get Pig Sick pick the wrong bike for the weekend away.
Its one of these Gel Batteries That I hate so much do I have to save the planet. Give me Lead Acid any time
