On other forums (Ducati, Kawasaki, etc..) this topic is right up there with oil threads. Lots of info, mis-info and opinions.

One of the recurring problems tends to be using it on steel headers- ours being stainless is an advantage- much less rust flaking.
From what I see, ceramic coating is the preferred method.
Let us know if you do wrap- inquiring minds want to know.....

I think the possible (read:not proven) cooler running if way offset by the cost, labor and unsightliness of it. And stink, according to John.

This guy on EBay has quite a little info section in his ad.

I notice that my left foot gets hotter than my right and I thought if the Johnny Blanket works on top....
I did see the spray coating for the wrap. I just didn't want to cook the headers if someone else already had!
