Hi

My K11LT is a little hesitant for the slow stuff making it like my R11GS. A PO might have been messing with things...

On my R11GS owners obsess about having the TB pot voltage correct. i wondered what reading K11's are set at?

The revs dip slightly as throttle is "just" opened suggesting it might be set too low. Apart from that it's a relatively smooth 50+mpg (UK) operation.

Thanks for the offer.

I have the .pdf BMW manual via eBay from a few years ago. My understanding was that the temp light adjustment method only applied with the BMW diagnostic attached (once called by a Rainbow mechanic, the "Modijoke"!). Don't know if I am correct?

I tried to buy an aftermarket dignostic from Motobins recently but they are sold out. It would work on the R11GS as well. On the R11 forums they use TPS voltage as the measurement via a multimeter which is quite easy to perform.

Do a search on here, It's been covered before, .375 volt IIRC at throttle closed.

About the same as my R11. I thought it must be similar as they use the same style TPS. The work carried out in "TB sync" thread has cured the ills of slow riding bu this will be good for future ref.

Everything on the "anti tamper" set up had been messed with by a PO, if only to cover the obvious leaky manifold rubbers.
