Hi all,

Planned trip to middle Ga from Dallas, tomorrow, there looks to be several chances of scattered Thunder Storms along the way.

I have the wet weather gear, and Metzlers.

What would you do take the bike or Cage (car)?

I don't mind the rain, I don't prefer it, but also my wife is concerned.

Your thoughts please...

Are you going to slab it? I'd take a cage.

Non-slab and only scattered Tstorms, I'd ride.

Slab to Meridian, Ms, then US80 to Montgomery, AL. Some IH85 to Columbus, Ga. Picking up highway 96 to Kathleen, Ga.

I know there will be other times to take a long ride, but I am so looking forward to this.

How can anybody judge your riding skill.

I ride ALL THE TIME!!!!

Hell or highwater, rain or hail, I RIDE!!!

Speed, attitude, and gear adjusted to conditions expected.

Prepare for the worst, pray for the best.

You know HOW to ride in the rain right? They you shoud be OK. You can NEVER account for the other drivers out there, just be awares, be safe.
