Has anyone tried to put a 120/70 - 18 tire on the front rim of an LT? _________________ Rich

I know it's not the same, but I have a 110/90-18 Metzeler ME-880 on mine.
(I had to grind off the tip of the screw that holds the plastic cover between the forks)
If my math is correct, the sidewall on the 120/70 should be 84 mm tall, whereas the 110/90 should be 99 mm tall. Theoretically, your 120/70 should be 4mm shorter than the stock 110/80-18. _________________ '02 - GL1800

Your math is correct. I was wondering more if the width of the 120 would fit on the narrower LT rim. _________________ Rich
