I'm pulling my K11RS to pieces to find out why the clutch is slipping.

As I'm working my way down I've realised I cant get the starter motor out because of the frame which holds the ABS servo's.
The servo's are removed and I dont see how the servo frame comes out.

The only solution I see is once the transmission is unbolted and dropped then the servo frame can come out and leave room to pull the starter motor back.

I'm wondering how I would get the starter motor out should it need a service ??
Does anyone have some advise.

You don't need to remove the starter to remove the transmission. All you need to do is remove the bolts that hold it to the transmission. The starter can stay right where it is. When putting the transmission back on just make sure the rear of the starter if lifted up out of the way.

Howzit Duck,

That was a damm qwik reply, thanks a mill.
I was thinking there was a tranny bolt under the starter.
The tranny is loose now, I just need to take the bolts out completly and drop it.

I'm still puzzled how I'd ever get the starter out should it need servicing.
The ABS servo mounting frame stops it from being pulled back enough to lift it out. Getting the starter out on my non ABS is a piece of old takky.

Once the ABS is out, remove the footrest plates & undo the 6mm nuts in the bottom of the frame. The whole frame can then be jiggled out. You now have access to starter & alternator.
