any one using this stuff? http://mystarbrite.com/startron/

I picked some up locally after reading about it in Rider magazine - but it's cheaper from Amazon.

The guy at West Marine said to buy the stuff made for diesel - it's more concentrated than the stuff made for gas - 16 ounces will treat 1,024 gallons of gas. I might call them to verify that.

If the gasolene in your area isn't laced with ethanol, you probably don't need it. I'm trying it in everything I own that burns gas - car, truck, motorcycle, lawn mower, etc. If nothing else, it's supposed to be an excellent stabilizer - better than the other popular brand.

Since we're getting to the time of year that the K might sit for a couple or three weeks, I figure it can't hurt - might help.

Mileage always goes down here when we get our "winter blend". If I notice improved mileage or any other small miracles, I'll report back here.

I've used it and will start using it regularly now that I'm riding less and the fuel sits longer. Haven't noticed any performance effects although a friend of mine who rides a KLR claims it's night and day when he uses it.

I was intrigued by the report and chemcally how it works so I just bought some but haven't used it yet. I got it at my local Honda dealer who also deals with watercraft and they said they use it in everything. I have been using stabul for marine engines though you can use it it in everyting it is just more concentrated than the normal stabul. I have been using it for years with no problems.

Going to their website, they state: "dramatically improves fuel economy" gets my attention but not in a good way. Blanket statements like that tend to make me into a non-customer.

If you're comparing prices, make sure you check the concentration. I thought I found a bargain once at a store then noticed the concentration was about one fourth of what I had bought previously. The product is mostly naptha with the rest proprietary enzymes.

I think that 16 ounce bottle for the diesel mix was about $21.00. Like I said, it's cheaper from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_2_7?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=startron+enzyme+fuel+treatment&x=0&y=0&sprefix=startro

I didn't spend a lot of time looking - all I see at Amazon is the gas mix. I'll let you do the math to see which seller is cheaper. If you spend a minimum of $25.00 you can usually get free shipping - you have to edit shipping preferences after check out.
