Hi guys,

As promised, here are more pictures from Hua Hin Bike Week. Hua Hin is a small resort town about 150km south of Bangkok, it's a really nice seaside resort town, not as commercialised as Phuket, and a lot more laid back. We all loved this place so much we're planning another ride there next year!

Cheers!
Chris

Customising is HUGE in Thailand, and a lot of bikers go for the 'chopper' look, funnily enough I don't think the movie 'Easy Rider' ever played in Thailand, and yet....

Spot the Brick...kinda easy, sticks out like a sore thumb!

Of course I had to take a shot of my bike amongst the fray too!

Undoubtedly going for that 'look ma, no handlebars' look...

As with tattoos, airbrushing is quite popular here too...

Custom with hand actuated gear shifter...

Far from home...A BUELL!

Closer look at that monster trike with the turbo engine...

AND lastly a very rare Shoeius Araius tree that only grows in Hua Hin... Razz

I can't see that turbo lasting very long with no air filter on it! The blades will self destruct in no time with dust....

Your K1100, the Repsol Honda, the Ducati and that yellow cafe-racer Honda are like isolated, good-looking islands among a sea of, well, err, oh- nevermind Rolling Eyes .

Thanks again for the pictures.

Thais are pretty small. They probably do the chopper thing so their feet can touch the ground. Very Happy

I don't know about their size, but some must be pretty BRAVE.

Check out the third bike in the first picture- no front brake and a drum rear brake Shocked

If you'd spent any time in Bangkok then you'd know that Thais don't have much use for brakes in any vehicle.. Laughing
