Larry, it's a shame you have to sell it.
Just my .02 but:
Ditch the reserve price auction. Just start the bidding at the lowest $$$ you're willing to take for it.
Having seen it in person, it's in amazing shape for a bike with 81k on it. I'd try selling it on Craig's List too if I were you. You've got a big market down there in LA and somebody who sees the condition of the bike in person will be awestruck so I think you're likely to get more $$$ if you do that.
Good luck on the sale. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

That's a beauty - did you put it on IBMWR as well? _________________

I planned to make it a very special K. Serious customization, but I have not worked since last October and I have to pay my attorney before trial in January. The last time I listed anything on EBay and
IBMWR it was taken off because IBMWR does not allow ads to run on their site and anywhere else at the same time. I will put it on Craigslist. Thanks for the tip. _________________ Larry

Bummer ya gotta sell.
OMG!! That is one of the cleanest 80K bikes I think I ever saw.
It kills me. My ride is tucked into a corner of the garage, covered & charged, ready to leap into action.
It's 27 F this morning, rain, sleet, snow, salty roads & dang depressing.
I need to go clean & wax somthing.
Best luck on the sell & your troubles, I truely hope 2010 brings you relief & some joy as well. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Wow, nice farkleage! I just bought the same bike (97LT, also mystic red). Too bad I don't need two...or do I?
If you don't mind my asking a couple of questions:
Why the RS rear wheel?
I've also purchased and am about to install an Audiovox cruise, is mounting the canister in the boot the way to go? Any install gotcha's?
Good luck on the sale, people seem to really like the color of the bike, I've had a lot of comments! _________________ 1997 K1100LT

I've got an RS rear because it's wider and looks better and it also lets me run Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires.
Just toos the servo under the seat (might not work if you have the stock seat with the part sticking down but works fine with a Corbin. That's how I have my 94 RS cruise installed. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

What Duck says about the rear wheel. I disagree about the Servo placement. The boot is the best location IMHO. It is out of the way, and there is still storage available, plus the cable routing is straight forward. Search the site, my install photos are here somewhere.
Nice brick mate, can I ask what it set you back? _________________ Larry
