So I was heading up Mt Mee yesterday morning and in front of me was some sort of a cruiser which sounded really big, like Vrod or something. All I could tell was it had a rear tyre about as big as I have on my landcruiser and the end of the muffler was triangular. It was as fast as hell in a straight line but was struggling in the corners. I reckon he had about 5 degrees more healing angle (yachting term sorry) at the end of the mountain than at the start as he was dragging bits all the way up! But I had to get up to 6-7000rpm to keep up with him in the straights!

Anyone know what big cc cruisers have a triangular muffler? It didn't look like it was modded or anything. It wasn't horribly loud like the modded Hardly Driveables.

I stuck hard on his arse all the way, but was too gutless to squeeze past as it's a narrow road!

To be honest, I was quite impressed at how fast he got up the hill!

Sounds like the Honda Valkyrie Rune... did it have a futuristic design to it? This thing uses a customized 1800 6 cylinder from the Goldwing.

Not from what I could see, didn't look that big. I'm pretty sure it was a Trumpy Rocket 3 which I have heard can actually go arouns corners. Although as I said he left a fair proportion of it behind on the road.

You got me, then... The Rocket I think comes with 2 round pipes on one side with a 3rd round on the left. Awesome bike though! Kind of like the Triumph version of a V-Max. Very Happy

Parts left on corners sounds like when I rode HD baggers, with sparks coming off the floor boards on twisty roads Shocked Laughing Laughing
