So I picked up my new-to-me 96 K1100RS Saturday. So far it's been great. I was a bit worried about the "high" mileage, but after looking around on here and talking to a few people, I guess it's not that high. It's just over 50K. I was really impressed by the service at the dealership too. I'll do my best to search first, but I'm sure I'll have questions. See ya all around.
Only pic I have now.

Good group found in here!
Very sweet ride! I lusted for the SE, could not find one when I bought.
They all need work / maintainence, all the help you may need is in here.
If you got big bucks, the dealer can help as well.
Enjoy the ride. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Welcome, that is a sharp looking RS.
Don't worry about the 50K, that's about average for the age. The years are more of an issue with seals and gaskets drying out and such.
You won't find a better resource for these bikes than this group. _________________ Steve

Where in New Hampshire are you?
And if you won't be needing that vfr anymore I'd be interested. Can we see it too? _________________ Jim

I was just assuming since he didn't list a location and we are the fastest growing state in membership. The odds are with us! _________________ Jim

Actually I'm in eastern Iowa, Davenport to be exact. No the VFR is all mine. I can't get rid of it. Especially with the D&D exhaust, so sexy. I would have traded it in otherwise.
Here's the VFR
And the Bullet
So todays the big day. Taking the K to Des Moines for a few days. _________________ 96 K1100 RS

It is amazing how the (new owners of Royal Enfield) have managed to maintain the British tradition of the chrome on the exhaust bluing up with a little hard twisting of the throttle _________________ David, owner of:

Quad Cities, huh? Our daughter was born in Davenport. Haven't been back in over 20 years. Nice area of the country.
Again, welcome!
