Hello chaps,

Another problem. Again electrical. I really must get a new battery.

My starter relay went today, I think. Bloody thing will not turn off. Had to disconnect the battery, kept spinning the starter. Could it be anything else?

Bit different in this case though. As I was riding to work, before I attempted to turn off, the bike made a distinct rattling sound. As if something was loose and flying around in it. Really disconcerning. Sounded awful. What do you think this was?

My guess would be alternator monkey nuts. I have heard that they are really rattley when shot...just a thought. Were you "in there" recently?
