He's flown in from the Neitherlands to visit his family.

I'll be meeting him for lunch at a place to be selected in Warrenton, VA tomorrow.

Anybody want to join us? Very Happy

I still need to here back from Jim for conformation.

Steve may be able to make it there at that time.

I actually considered it, but 6+ hrs one way would be too much at this stage of the game, plus the FZ has a leaky fork seal. /horror

Have fun and lots of pics!

You aren't saying that you are riding already? In the car I'd believe.

Did 60 miles on the FZ1 yesterday and doing a local dirt ride today. The leg is at 90%.

I even had an infected root canal taken out under general anesthesia 2 days ago. Told you guys I heal like Wolverine.

I miss Red Hot and Blue, we had one right down the street when I lived in Manassas, Va. So yummy!

Well shit! Evil or Very Mad

It seems I have an electrical grimlin. Tho the bike appears to have the juice, (head light is bright, instruments light up etc.) it will not start.

No, it's not the kill switch, I checked. But it acts the same.

Even the fuel pump doesn't make a sound.

Nothing at all.

I even hooked up jumper cables, just in case, no diff.

No, it's not the side stand switch, it was disabled. But I tried up postion anyway, what the heck. No diff.

Yes, it's in neutral yada yada.

Looks like I'll be meeting Jim in the Subie. Embarassed

Have you seen the KTM lately Confused

Killswitch cleaning, that's what Drake said when I called him on the way to meet Jim.

And speaking of which...

It was totally wonderful to meet and dine with him!!!

He is truely the kind of person I'm pleased to call friend. He's warm, personable, easy going and a great hugger. He even sneaked in a good-bye kiss on the cheek. Very Happy

He told me I was the first person from K11OG he's ever met. Embarassed
That was heavy. Shocked

Picture later, I have to go work on my bike, then pack for a three day, 1000 mile trip to visit my family in South Carolina.

Thanks Gwen for the warm welcome, and picking up the tap at lunch, we all know the cheap reputation of the Dutch. Razz . Also thanks to all the response's, wish we could have made this a bigger gathering.

With a promise from Gwen that the next time there would be a ride waiting for me can't wait for the next trip back. Very Happy

And next time with better planning may even make the Hungry Mother (?) meet. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
