Oh NUTZ. Sorry to hear you will miss HM. Jen too- I told her that there would be one or two guys near her age.
Best of luck with your exams (our son also can't be at HM because of finals) _________________ John & Cathy

A note about accommodations at the lodge - the 4 private rooms are taken. If you get there early, and somehow manage to get a key, please do not take one of the private rooms unless you have paid for one.
I have paid for cabin 19 - we'll have more than enough space.
Please plan your trip so you do not arrive before 3 PM - check in time.
See you soon. I hope all of you have a safe and pleasant ride! _________________ Jim

Hi everyone, ...it is with great sadness that I let everyone know that I will not be able to come to HM4 this year. Being self-employed I’m at the whims of the economy, which as you too well know has been painfully slow to recover.
I just need to be working as much as possible right now and not out spending as much as possible. I’m also a bit concerned about the potential of an expense bike retrieval ‘ala HM2.
I’ll really miss everyone this year and I truly hope you have a great time, great weather and great roads. I hope someone can use my spot in the main cabin, and as I told Jim and Scott in PM’s, please consider my part of the cabin cost as a donation to the group.
I’ll plan on coming next year, but I just can’t do it this time around.
You guys have a great trip, a safe one, and post lots of pictures! _________________ Steve

Hi, Steve,
I'm sorry to hear you won't be coming. No, we don't want ANYONE to have the same type of retrieval you had at HMII! Of course, it's still something we talk about, like arriving at the restaurant and piling out the back of the U-Haul truck! I'll be looking forward to seeing you next year. _________________ Ride Safe,

Ok, if anybody is interested I would like to cook the following dinner:
Made from scratch Jambalaya with garlic bread and a green salad.
(I need to know if anybody in allergic to shellfish/shrimp)
For general snacking:
I'll made an egg salad with crumbled fresh bacon served and a black bean corn salsa.
I'll also make carmel pecan banana pies. (nuts and bananas will be on the side to top as you wish) _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Hi, Gwen,
I'M INTERESTED!!! What night do you want to do your dinner? The spaghetti doesn't take as long (I don't think) as the Jambalaya, so I'm open to any night. I only would have to go into town for the ingredients. _________________ Ride Safe,

Jambolaya!!! sounds good
I'm rolling in Wednesday evening and staying at the M Star motel at 1419 N Main Street. If anyone would like to dine Wednesday evening or wants to go for a spin Thursday before check in time at the lodge, give me a holler. |
