My brother works for Buyers Products in Cleveland, OH.
Phone:
(440) 974-8888
Address:
Buyers Products Company
9049 Tyler Blvd. Mentor, Ohio 44060

This last weekend he gave me a battery that they use in their "Salt Dogg" salt spreaders. The part number ofr Buyers is P/N 1410717, but right on the battery it also lists BMW part numbers 51814 and 51913. These are nice sealed batteries. They sell from Buyers for $59.88 and some other snow removal place sells it for $49.45. Works great in my '93 K1100LT

Thanks for the info. Could you post the dimensions and take a picture showing the battery posts? If they fit the ABS I bikes, I don't think they'll fit the ABS II bikes. That's a good price.

51913 is 20Ah & should fit ABS2, watch out for post hole clearance above the case. I & my son have Westco AGM's on my K11 & his R11, a little drilling was necessary to make the tag holes line up with the post holes IIRC £67 UK inc postage, not too dissimilar from your price.

That is a great price, it looks pretty simliar to the battery in my '93 RS.

Hmmm, might need to get one of those. My current Yuasa is pushing 5 years, but still works fine.

Just buy an Odyssey PC680 and hope you live long enough to see it fail. Rolling Eyes
