My gear indicator display is reading incorrectly, as a result I am having to start the bike with the clutch in as it is reading 1st or 2nd when its actually in neutral, I have read previous posts regarding water ingress to the sensor causing probs so please could someone tell me - where is the sensor? Am i able to get at it and clean and dry it without taking too much apart? Will the sensor cause me bigger problems in teh future if i dont fix now?

Well, I can tell you that the switch sensor is mounted on the back of the transmission. You do have to remove the swing arm to get to it.
If it just got wet, it will dry out eventually. Just be patient. _________________ Ride safe.
