OK, probably real dumb question--consider the source.

Front brake drain per Das Boot (just open bleeder w/ line to container) went fine.
Rear not so much.
Question is how do you tell the fluid level?? I shine a light straight on it looks empty. From below way full. New fluid is coming out the bleeder but I just can't get a good read on rear reservoir level.
Afraid I'll empty it.
Thanks

Confirmation I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Had read the online manual for fluid change. Just looked in the owners manual.
The reservoir does come out of the clip. Couldn't see how but squeezed it out of there. I obviously had been looking at the diaphragm.
All became clear when cap/diaphragm was taken off.
Next time will be much easier.
Leaving this in case anyone in the future may learn from this debacle.
On to other things.
