I decided at the last minute to ride to the BMWMOA rally in Redmond, Oregon from my home in Vancouver, BC. It's a good day ride of around 800/900 kms (500/600 miles).
This year was the 30th anniversay of the GS bikes and the door prize was a fully stocked F800 which sadly I did not win.
There were 6109 registered visitors on 3225 bikes with only 1% trailered. We like to ride! Imagine what the percentage would be at Sturgis.
The top 5 states/provinces represented were, California (922), Oregon, Washington, British Columbia (233) and Colorado.

Wow, great pics, thanks for sharing.
That's quite a study in bike luggage packing and what kind of stuff you can carry on a bike!

Thanks for sharing the nice pics. Where's the ladies? I thought about attending the rally, but the 2,050 mile ride from Chicago is too long and boring.

Great shots, Blu by u. Can really get the feel for the NW area. Superb gear/luggage photos, not to mention all the great looking bikes.
