Hi Guys
Thought I should let u know I sold the K1100LT ,even though I owned it a short time I will miss it as it had a good riding position.
I sold it to a young Russian guy that in 2008 ADv riders sponsored to ride through the US gave him a bike and cash etc .Now studying in NZ _________________ R80G/S1986

Hi Daryl...
Well after you've experienced a few sleepless nights, fretting, tossing and wondering just what has caused that inner sense of profound loss, you will come to your senses and seek out yet another "Brick" to adopt ! Remember, you're amongst friends here, and wise council ( such as just given ) to quell your every doubt is just a key stroke away... ie: misery loves company !!
Very best regards and condolences....// Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Darryl,
Thought you were more of a K1100RS kind of guy anyhow- closer to the riding position of your R-S.

Yeah well, it is true that the RS is THE bike, but I gotta tell you, if you don't want to buy another big K then DEFINITELY DO NOT even look at the classic K12rs/gt.
DO NOT even look, or TOUCH, the sleek curving lines and superkool K41 classic motor that whispers stealth POWER..... with its K1 cams and 6 speed box.... NO No no
Great riding position, grunt galore, good prices, bugs ironed, leading arm front suspension like an earls fork, great on gravel and muddy rutted roads like down here in downunder oz.. BUT superb on the newer fancy sealed roads
Did I say it had ponies of grunt
All the best Mate and come on over the ditch any time again, where K12 is cheap! |
