Still working up some armrest mounts to attach to the KLT for a set of Kuri I scored from ebay. We are working with a plate attached to the luggage rack and then to reinforce the rack as previously noted here on the forum.
I noted a Reynold's 241 online and they want $350 for it and the backrest. I understand that this is a unavail part but the price seems a bit steep.
However, is this rack any more rigid/structurally sound than the stock rack and would it better tolerate armrest mounts?
Can you still use the stock topcase with a Reynolds Rack?

VERY high price.
Not totally rock hard stable but much better than the stock plastic one.
No. You'd probably want to go with something aftermarket. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Thanks,
I think I will stick with plan A and reinforce the stock rack and see how the armrest mounting plate does. _________________ 94 bmw K1100LT
