Hi
Mounted Xenon light on the K11LT, will try it this evening when it's getting darker.
Took picts and will add some more tonight.

Looking forward to this - one question, does the HID remove the Hi/Lo beam capabilities for just one setting?

No no it acts like a normal hi lo beam.
The same lamp moves forward and backward in the socket by a magnet and in one position the lamps light beams are shielded so it makes a lo beam.
Start time for the lamp are appr 2 sec to 50% effect and <=10 sec to full.
When the lamp has been switched on the last 30sec it's 2sec to 100% from off.

Wow - Quel Difference!

Looks like you piggybacked off the positive battery connection? Did you splice into the cable lead or add a ring on the battery pole?

To be honest I pealed off the wire, made a sling of the methal part and put it between the washer and the pole of the opposite side of the cable lead. Not perfect but I didn't have a cable ring at hand.
A note this are not the final mounting, just for test.
Have to hide it more as it's not compleatly according to our regulations, as have to cover the wires from the original lamp socket to the relay unit with black tape. And make a more solid strapping of the amplifier.
A positive probelm for us are that we do not have that much darkness in the summer june and july you there no dark hours in the night, now we have appr 4 hours darkness. So I had to do the test at midnight.
I'm living at the same hight as Ancorage appr. 100km south of arctic circle. Great area for arround the clock riding in summer but a bit dark and cold in winter and lots of snow Smile

Looks great. I am sold on HID. The lower current draw would be nice. 100W main and 2 55w aux lies drop voltage from 14V to 13.2. But I hesitate do to the old style reflector in the head light. May not get good focus.
drikko in australia had light scatter problems blinding oncoming traffic. Others haven't had that problem. May be an aiming problem.
Please let us know how other motorists react.

We rode in a zick-zack colon with me in the left row ( right side trafic ), the rider in front of me and on the right asked if I had tuned the light.
Also other noticed the light but it was not disturbing, some asked how to mount it.
Will see how it's working on tuesday when we will ride home late in the evening.

Hi Report from first evening to night ride.
Light superb as expected but had to adjust it lower to not come into the face of rider(s) ahead.
BUT the HID booster unit send out radio waves and the reciving of radio signals was terrible decreased. Will try to move the HID booster from left front to right front.
