I guess the title says it-
I'm going to look at a K1100LT about 4 hours away. If I make a deal, will it fit in my F-150 with a 6' bed?
Unfortunately, nobody can give me a lift so I can ride her home.
Thanks! _________________ 1993 K1100LT

Hi Chuck.
I believe it will, perhaps at an angle.
Do you have a hitch?
If yes, why not rent / borrow a flat trailer w/ a ramp tail gate.
It's a top HEAVY bike and will be bitch to ramp up that high.
Just sayin'
Beyond that I would highly recommend Canyon Dancer Straps.
They TOTALLY rawk!

Most bike shops have them. _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

At an angle with the gate down it'll probably fit.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend using anything that straps down the handlebars or fork trees. I think you're much better off if you tie down at the fork brace and let the bike ride on it's own suspension. It's a lot easier on the suspension. And then there's the mushy rubberized steering that needs to be factored in if you tie off to the handlebars.

Thanks-
I'll see if I can swipe a trailer for a day.....
If not, I'll load her in the truck. At least I have a hoist when I get home.
Time to go K huntin' ! _________________ 1993 K1100LT

I brought my K1100LT home to NE Ohio from Chattanooga in the back of my Chevy S10 with a 6' bed. No issues, no drama. I did have to leave the tailgate down but the rear wheel was in the bed.

It'll only fit if you post a pic of it here when you get it home. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
