Over the winter I need to replace a leaky seal.
Plus, I plan on putting in new springs of some sort and adding gaiters to my '95 K11RS forks.

Figured whilst I'm in there I will replace any other wear items at the same time.
So...what all do I need, aside from new oil, springs and seals?

Looks like there is two bushings, upper and lower, that I could replace.

Anything else? Any clips, crush washers, etc.?

Thanks Very Happy

How many miles on the bike? All I ever do is take them apart and clean everything when I need to do the fork seals.

O-rings for the drain screws are a good thing to replace. Be very careful not to strip the threads when putting the drain screws back in.

Only 28K, but I don't know it's history.

You thinking the bushing should be OK?

I'd just clean them out and replace the fork seals and drain screw O-rings.

Hey Bob, I've just fitted gaiters to my K11RS.. I used universal steering rack boots intended for cars, they cost approx $3 each and fitted like they were intended for the bike.

Cheers

Just a little tip,if you have ABS;I recently tried to remove my forks to fit gaiters.
Could not budge the ABS sensor from the left hand fork leg ,depite much effort, lubricant, anti sieze etc and even brute force.Had to resort to Fuel tank removal and detach the sensor lead from the main harness....... Rolling Eyes
