Ok, I have been a member for a few weeks. Finally made my purchase. Here is my "new to me" 1997 K1100LT. Rode the train down to Charlotte, NC last weekend and rode the bike back the next day. Bike has 40.7K on the clock. It has been very well taken care of. I have already wired up my GPS and have a set up for my Zune/iPod. Many miles ahead.

WELCOME!!
That LT looks great- a '97- practically brand new
Central Va. The largest K11OG get together of the year is in your backyard next May.
Stick around here and by then you'll know who the nut-balls are on this forum (hint- that's most of us ) and then you decide if you can stand to spend a weekend with many of us.
Others will be along soon to say Hi.

Hi, and Welcome!
Unlike most on this list, I do not have a K1100. I did have one which I sold (122k miles) and another on which I hit a deer in 2007. The bike and the deer both died; luckily I didn't! I now ride a couple of K75's. I hope to meet you at Hungry Mother IV in May. I again plan to cook spaghetti for the group, as long as I don't hear too many objections. _________________ Ride Safe,

Hey RTDude - welcome! Very nice looking ride! If you add the year, model, and approximate miles to your sig, it'll help us help you - if you need any future help diagnosing anything. _________________ Jim
