Thinking of fitting one as opposed to the "cyclonic oil separator", the breather tube looks oily and the oil filler cap puffs out fumes!
I don't want my newly fitted rear seal popping
I read previous threads on re-routing to the TB inlets, but this seems easier...

slippery - I'm going this route - with the exception of removing the splooged foam - I'll just seal all that off so it doesn't get sucked into the engine.

I bought that 93 RS with a K1200LT engine. Wera32 had installed a catch bottle on that. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Hey guys,
Thanks for the ideas. Last winter on my departed '93 K-RS I had done a thorough clean/repair to the airbox area above the engine and noticed quite a bit of damp oily filth after I managed to extract the airbox itself.
I also looked at this thread by Max:
http://k11og.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7418&highlight=cyclonic
Could someone draw out a simple diagram of the entire airbox bypass like slipperyox is doing.
The new-to-me K100 is really clean and I would like to avoid having a toxic waste site from oil fumes. _________________ John & Cathy

I haven't found the post yet but I seem to remember someone took the inner vac "rail", yea the $70 one, and disconnected the side port from the air box and connected the rear end of it to the 90deg port that is at the rear of the engine block.
The pia ont to get to that has, more often than not, split and is leaking.
I'll do some more thread searching later.
OK found it.

Posted my Max as well, I think this was before he did the airbox gut. _________________ Ride safe.
