Hello All,
Two weeks ago I sold my K75 and bought a 1997 K1100 LT with 7500 miles.
Even thought it is mid winter I have been able to put a couple of hundred miles on the bike and have added a BMW top box and tank bag.
Weather permitting I hope to contiue riding each month to maintain my Rounder status.
I live in Mid Coast Maine and enjoy the rural atmosphere.
Be Well.

Welcome aboard Tim! My Dad and his family going back are Maine folks, he bought a place a bit up the coast before I was born and I still spend a few weeks every year up there. I usually drop in at the Miss Brunswick on the way up, ever since Moody's got too fancy :)

Sounds like me 5 yrs ago.

Welcome to the group.

The closest I've been to Maine was the HL trip to New Hampshire. It is beautiful up there.
Ride safe.

Tim, WELCOME.

We are over the border in northern NH-

Mid coast? So you are around the Camden, Rockland area- somewhere near Augusta?

We like to ride in western Maine- Bethel, Grafton Notch. The 4 of us on the 3 bikes almost made it to Bar Harbor last Spring- crappy weather cut that trip short.

Stay in touch.

Welcome, Tim!
Probably not close enough to meet the NH delegation for lunch, but maybe a good destination for us sometime.

Hello and Welcome Tim, nice looking bike (just had a peek at it over at the Pictures thread). Well I'm about as far from Maine as one could possibly get without leaving planet earth, but this forum keeps me close; it's a great place to be :)

Cheers!

Yes it is the real mileage. The bike was owned by an older gentleman in his late 70s who only road when conditions were perfect during daylight only. he averaged 500 to 1000 miles a year until he passed on 2 years ago. The bike was then bought by a riding buddy who again only road it about 500 miles a year. It is cherry.
