My room phone # is (631) 385-3785

@All: I am probably going home tomorrow afternoon/night. A bit worried about coming off the PCA though. The pain is pretty bad.

Did I mention how much I love my wife? She brought in fresh fruit and veggies, Subway sammiches (3pts! I am staying on weight watchers for certain), Clorox wipes which she used to clean the shit out of everything I use, and to top it off gave me a full sponge bath! (including a vigorous scrub of the twins/taint/anus) I tried to milk it into an anal bleaching but she was having none of it.

6:15 pm Wednesday

Just talked to da' man, OTG himself. He is kind-of doped up  -we talked for a couple of minutes while he told me the grizzly details.

But in the background it sounded like he had a small scale party going on in his hospital room.

Under the circumstances (and the meds) he sounds not great but not horrible- about what you would expect from the big man.

Right now it seems like many of his local ADV buds are visiting and keeping him amused. Maybe once he is home- in a day or so- and when the new wears off of his misery, the K11OG can pick up the slack to divert his attention and boredom.

Stay tuned- you too Dave.

John

Dave,
I was off the boards for a few days and just saw this.
I'm really sorry to hear this especially at the start of great weather and the end of the long snowy winter.
Heal fast.

Gwen, thank you so much for those awesome, guiltless chocolates! Hit the spot!

Strangely enough I don't have much of an appetite. Must have been the metric assload of powerful narcotics they were pumping into me.

All that is over now....got home a few hours ago. Every little task is going to be a huge production for the next few days until we work out a system. ADV buddy is coming over tomorrow to install grab bars in the bathroom and a hand-held shower. And get this....I am going to be seen by a home care nurse tomorrow. :P Should be fun.

Not fun having to struggle for 10 mins to take a dump and not being able to wipe your own ass.

Anyway stay foused and before you know it you'll be kicking butt, advise, use the other leg. Cards in the mail (as soon as i get the address Gwen).
