2010 KOG T-shirt ...CLOSED for 2010

Postby kbmwrs » Thu Jan 07, 2010 8:03 pm

It’s that time again Jan 2010. Time to start taking orders for the "Flying Brick" KOG T-shirt.

Minimum order is 36 so I'll need at least that many BEFORE I place the order.
Orders being taken thru 15Feb10

As before I only take pre-orders and then when the minimum is reached I place the order and get the shirts made.
Delivery is included in the price within the US. Shipping outside the US will entail further discussion (payment of actual shipping costs) but I have sent shirts all over the world with no problems. Do not send payment when pre-ordering.

Shirts are $23 delivered for White and Ash, $25 for Black (XXL +$1, XXXL +$2) sorry you knew an increase had to come after 2 years at the same price. I actually negotiated at a little more but I’ll take the pennies hit...no sense in counting cents.

A statement from one of our Brit KOGers: “The USA sizes are one step bigger than ours. I usually order an XL 48" Chest & I'm 15 stone. I know because I’ve just measured mine. XXL will be 52" & XXXL will be 56".

types:
White, Black or Ash color
Long or Short Sleeve
KOG logo over the left breast, small
"Flying Brick" logo large on the back
On long sleeves the right arm has "K1100 Flying Brick" down its length.

Check the KOG site:
http://k11og.org/community/k11og_logo.shtml

I must state as before this is not a business for me. I do it for KOG forum only, hence the minimum order and the once a year order.

For those of you skeptical I understand. Please contact any KOG member that has participated before (I think this is the sixth year...or seventh) and get their input on the quality and style of the shirts.

Send all pre-orders to my e-mail: bmwrs@garlic.com

Stating: Name
Count: how many you want
Size: S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL (note extra charges for XXX and XXXL)
Color: White, Black or Ash
Sleeve: Long or short
Shipping address

Upon minimum orders reached I will place the order to get them made and I will notify all of this. When I get them in my possession I will then contact you (e-mail & on the KOG forum) stating that I have the shirts. Then is the time you need to send me a check or PayPal for the amount required. After I receive the check/PayPal notice I will then ship the shirt(s).

Please, please DO NOT make payment until I let you know I have the shirts available.

New this year will be PayPal
Just send your payment via PayPal to bmwrs@garlic.com

Trust is required here. I need to trust that you will pay for your pre-order (I pay to have all the shirts made) and you need to trust me and send payment before I ship them. I think others on the forum will verify that I deliver a nice shirt.

So let’s get those orders in so we can get the shirts made before riding season (for us in the US) is upon us.

Thanks Mike for doing this again.
A statement from one of our Brit KOGers: “The USA sizes are one step bigger than ours. I usually order an XL 48" Chest & I'm 15 stone. I know because I’ve just measured mine. XXL will be 52" & XXXL will be 56".
I'm now 17 stone (238 lbs) it was a few years ago
The quality is indeed excellent, mine have survived many washes. Pay-pal is a good idea, saves any exchange rate or postal problems, worked well with the K11 reflective stickers.
I think I'll have mine SNOW coloured (colored) this year.

Are you happy to ship OS ie Australia?

If so if any OZ members want some get back to me so we can save on shipping. I can distribute them from Brisbane for free OZ wide.

tee shirt orders

Postby Jim » Fri Jan 08, 2010 12:20 am

OK guys - let's help Mike out with the ordering process. You need to read his email. He does not want orders placed here - click on the email button at the bottom of his post, or copy and paste the email address in his email.

Place your orders via email so Mike can keep track of them.

Thanks.

Oooo I was going to get all over John for posting an order then Jim gave him the ol'dope slap.

I have no problem with sending to OZ but please realize that out of US YOU pay the actual shipping rate addded to the cost of the shirts. For some this is not worth the cost.

Now the idea of one shipment would be a lot easier and may (not sure) cut shipping costs. It all depends if all the OZ orderers can get together and make one order. I'll leave that up to you.

I dont think the shipping costs to OZ is going to be as cost prohibitive as we think. Check and see.

Seems USP rates would be $41.28 to Australia for a box that should handle 5-6 shirts...maybe more if I pack them in tight. Its a flat rate so the more I stuff in there the better.

Just an thought for you guys downunder.

I can't remember how much it cost last year but I think it wasn't as much as $40. Have to go back over my books to find out for sure.

Derek, will send you a PM.

Note:
Shipping prices to Australia from prior years:

2009 __2 shirts___cheapest___$11.95
2008___2 shirts___airmail____$25.25

No guarantee of what the shipment would cost this year but that gives you an idea.

Hi, Paul,
I don't have a K1100RS. My K75's currently have 140/80V17 rear and 100/90V18 Michelin Macadam tires (similar to K1100LT - the LT would take the same rear and the 110/80V18 front). Before the Macadams were discontinued, I paid just over US$200 for a set of tires shipped to my door, from a discount mail-order motorcycle parts store. If I had paid full retail, the price would have been near $300 (plus tax - none if shipped from another state in the USA to you, generally) plus probably close to $100 labor to mount and balance the tires. For the K1100RS, I would guess a dealer would charge around $450 for a set of tires, mounted and balanced.

John, what's your experience? Could we mount and balance a set of tires for Paul in your garage if he ordered a set and had them shipped to your house? I can bring my balancer when I go East for HMIII, if necessary. That is, if I can find space for it on the K75RTP!

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the info, I was just checking what the cost would be over there compared with here in NZ but there's not a lot of difference and they perhaps cheaper here, my local tyre shop can do a set of Bridestones for around NZ$ 550.00 fitted & balanced.

Just thought if they were a lot cheaper I would wait and put them on over there, thats still assuming that I bring my K as I'm still trying to get an all up price from the agents over here, its like pulling teeth !!.

Otherwise will look at buying a K over there.
