K100 turbo

Postby RJTrucker » Thu Jan 28, 2010 7:45 pm

That bike has the lower powered turbo. It only has 4 injectors. there was a 5 injector set up and the competition 8 injector system. I have the 8 injector system. I have been trying to sell my 8 injector competition turbo set up for a while now. Have a few low offers so I didnt sell it. on the 4 inector set up itused the stock ait box. The 5 injector has a modified top on the air box. the 8 injector does away with the air box and uses a plenum which has the additional 4 injectors mounted in it. it can handle alot more boost then the 4 and 5 injector set ups. I also have a copy of a catalog from Luftmeister which shows all 3 different turbo set ups and the prices. If you wan tto see more info on the K100 turbo go to RB Racing. Their web site tells all about it. They were the ones that designed it for Matt Capri (Mr Luftmeister) So if you really want to make that brick FLY I have just what you are looking for.

I thought we were the nuts that we added every time we got on the bike

RJTrucker,
You seem to have a great handle on boosting K bikes. How about engine durability? Are these low pressure turbos (I believe Saab made a big deal out of these several years ago) or do you lower the compression?
Just curious.

I think the white seat is really the light grey seat that was a BMW stock seat on the old Ks.......I had one.
