No - that's not a great price - that's way too cheap. These bikes are worth more than that - especially in good condition with fairly low mileage.

Remember that at the end of the 1100lt series, Bmw was putting out units minus the radio and topcase and putting black luggage on them. They sold for $9900.00 if i remember correctly. With the damage shown, doubtful you could buy a new panel from BMW as painted parts are not READILY avail for a 12 year old machine. In my opinion the price is fair under the circumstances.

Sounds exactly how my '97 was produced.
No radio, no heated grips, black side cases, top case extra.
The "basic, basic" no extras.
