I am in the process of having my baby completely repainted by a very good body shop, in an effort to save money however I am ordering all the trim myself, does anyone know the diameter of the BMW emblems on the tank and tail section??

Tank 70mm

Tail 60mm

You can also measure them to verify.

Because I did not won't to go through the discolouring again I bought a set of badges from a BMW car Dealership. I think it came from a 2 door rear 3 series. I just walked around matching up the size. I then cut off the lugs & glued on.
The rear is off a K1200LT. Thicker but never fades again also.

Thank you for all your input!!!! The bike came out unbelievable. It looks like I just picked it up at the dealer. Not a blemish.

Wasn't cheap!!!......but worth it!! It's like night and day.
