Edge has them for only $189 factory fresh refurb from Garmin with full warranty, accessories, software, etc.
Everyone whom I have ever talked to about them has LOVED them (and for $189 it is hard to go wrong...) _________________

Duck,
I have a 2610 that I use in a car and it does everything that I need to do. I haven't tried it on a bike yet. The device works like the newer versions but doesn't have the oblique view feature. As Ted says they are available from various sources a good prices.

Yeah, it looks like they've got screaming deals on the refurb'd ones.
In doing some research, the one feature that is lacking is that the tracking features are rather limited. I like to save my tracks so I may just stick with my current obsolete GPS. (Magellan Meridian Platinum) That will hold more than a day's worth of riding and I can save it to the SD card at the end of every day.
But dayum, aside from the tracking thing, those sure are a good buy.
www.getfeetwet.com has them for $207 w/ 3-year factory warranty.
I'm sorely tempted, I just need to convince myself not to do tracking anymore. But I do like making my little post tour maps:

Duck, I'm running one. Does everything the new ones do only you have to download maps from your PC. No big deal. I hooked it up on a Ram mount but have yet to buy the cable that pipes the sound to my intercom. I don't see how you could go wrong. That's where I got mine, http://www.getfeetwet.com/ _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

I have a 2620 in my wife's car. It is a nice unit but a bit heavy. I prefer my Garmin GPSMap 60CSX with RAM mount for the bike.
I put the highway page next to the mapping page. I like to toggle back and forth between the two. I have the highway page give me time and distance to my next waypoint and also the ETA at destination.
A great unit! _________________ "Still can't find 6th gear" 94 K1100LT |

Lightly used Garmin etrex vista (non colored screen) <----Will be my bike unit.
And he threw in a....
Whistler "Galileo" for free, thinking I will try and set this one up for the car. Hell, it was free.
I have the manual and updates for the Garmin. Plus a power cable and orig box. No computer interface cable though, will have to pick that up.
Looks like I will have to read the manual. I know zero about GPS units and how to work them.
Ok, so what I really want to know is did I get ripped off? _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Yes, It says "Can withstand an accidental dunk in the water"
It will take as much rain as you want to give it.
I've got it mounted from my handlebars up around my speedometer. I can send pictures if anyone wants them.
