I've had more in the past 5 years than many people get in a lifetime. By getting court supervision or beating tickets (50/50 or so) I by the grace of god have a clean record. |

Johnny - you can't just say you got a speeding ticket FCOL! You have to say what the posted limit was, how fast you were actually going, and what they wrote you up for. Did LEO cut you any slack? Residential? Highway?

Translation:
I have not received a speeding ticket since the year 1985, but I have certainly gone over the speeding limit many times since then, especially since I got my K11.
Just sayin.
<-----no speeding tickets, ever. But living here my whole life I know all the speed traps and spots.
Plus an 08 PBA card with "please extend whatever courtesy possible" and a signature and badge number written on the back. (good friend is a cop)
Thankfully I have never had to use it because I think it's cheesy, and it certainly is not a free pass to break the law, but it's nice to have.
I find as I get older the rebel in me is getting more and more quelled. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Johnny - tickets more than 20 years old don't count. The one I didn't get on the bike was in Alberta - two of us on the ride. RCMP asked if we wanted one ticket or two. My response: "Huh?" He then clarified - "I can write you each a ticket, or I can write one for both of you." I said write one - and pointed at the guy I was riding with (who didn't have his helmet off yet). At that time, a ticket written in Alberta wouldn't come back to the DMV here anyway. We took the single ticket and split it - $15.00 each. Friend was riding a HD - a Squeaking Eagle - ticket was for "inadequate equipment". How embarrassing!!!
So, technically, I haven't got one on the bike yet...
80 in a 50 isn't too bad... _________________ Jim

I guess I finally can say I'm a biker, wife called me at work saying a speeding ticket arrivied in the mail (that's how they do it here, and the're pretty damn good at it), it's my first with the motorcycle.
I had seen him earlier in the day, didn't exspect him to still be there a few hours later, guess he feel asleep after his donuts and milk break. _________________ 1995 K1100RS
