Did I read somewhere that fuel injection systems don't like quick disconnects on the fuel hoses?[/b]

you might have - but I don't remember reading that here. At least a few guys here have installed them - don't remember hearing about any problems.

I have had the plastic bodied quick disconnects on my bike for 4 years and have had no problems. I just broke one taking it off so I am going to replace them with the metal ones.

Ral - when you get them, could you let us know which ones you got and where you got them? Thanks.

I have some coming in from A & S BMW. They are $37 each, a little pricey but for me more than worth it when you are taking the tank off. When you go to the link it is interesting that the black plastic ones are little more expensive than the metal ones. Question
