Hi
Just wanted to introduce myself to your website members. I just bought a 96 K1100RS SE. It is black and silver with 35000 kilometers on it. Its spotless and runs great. I have owned about 18 or so bikes mostly Asian but a couple British and 1 Guzzi which I still have. I have had mostly sport bikes as well as spot tourer. I also do vintage racing with a T250 Suzuki and a CB550. This is the first BMW I have ever ridden and if I had of known how great they were I would have had one a long time ago. It handles well, has lots of power for what I want it to do, its comfy and HEATED grips. I use it for sport touring and 2 up riding. I have a couple of things I would like to do. One is put on a Corbin and the other is, at the request of my wife a top box. I have read with interest the articles on your forum and am learning more about the bike. The more I ride it the more I like it. I know I will have some questions for your members I just hope I don't make a pest of myself.
Thanks
Greg Robb

Does that sound familiar. A Corbin is on our soon-to-be list too and what is it with wives and top boxes?? Actually Cathy just wants SOMETHING between her rear and the back of the bike and the BMW 22 litre box temporarily does the job. But a Corbin with their backrest and a tailbag would give us more packing space.
Welcome to the K11OG. 99.9% of the time our '93RS is the best bike I have owned. Smooth, comfortable, good handling.
The other .1%? well...............lets just say that it might test your patience.
Welcome aboard.
