I picked up this from across the pond and it works great and no mercury.

What I found with being able to hook up and watch all four TBs at the same time is that as you adjust one it affects the others and it takes a little going back and forth to get them even. You wouldn't see this if you were only doing one at a time. _________________ Rich

Thats a nice looking tool, I just ordered a TWINMAX can put it to use soon as it gets to me" I think as soon as I get the hang of the TWINMAX it should be no problem to use" seems like it was built with BMW bikes in mind" I did some searching and reading and seems many BMW riders us the TWINMAX I do like the idea of all 4 TB being hooked in like yours does

longrider - Pro Guard wouldn't hurt anything (as far as I know) - what a lot of us here use is Chevron Techron. Same stuff Chevron puts in their gas. One half bottle of Techron will treat a tank full. _________________ Jim

Given how long the bike has been sitting, I'm sure it will be much smoother after it's got new plugs, had the TBs synched and you've split a bottle of Techron Concentrate between the next two tanks.
Note that Chevron also sells FI cleaner in a very similar bottle - be sure to get the Techron Concentrate. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I did the Plugs this past Monday. The Chevron Techorn Product I bought was the only injection cleaner they said they sold? it was about $5 bucks. Curious do I do the TPS first or the TB sync? I have Fluke 83 multimeter wonder it if will read 375mv. My other meters both say 300mv max? still not found the problem with the left grip heater not working?? I did check all the frame bolted grounds, Cleaned each one and bolted them back in place. My Old clock has a cracked face so looks like I will stay with my nonworking one" but I will pull the dash unit off and remove the yellow bulb in the choke light to solve that problem. another question for ya?? I was talking to a Guy that knows Fuel injection real good he told me "you have to make sure you use fuel hose that is made for fuel injection if it's hooked up in a fuel tank to the filter. normal fuel hose will go bad in gas on the out side covering" I replaced the filter and used the same hose that was in the tank is there a way to tell what hose I have for sure?

The proper sequence is 1. Adjust the valves (or check the clearances) 2. Ensure there are no air leaks on the intake side 3. Set the TPS 4. Idle sync with the air bypass screws 5. Set final idle speed.

Something I just thought about?? are you syncing the air-fuel mix?? or the butterflys? I was thinking the Air fuel mixture is set by the Computer? or maybe I'm thinking to much <G> what adjustments screws are used on the K11LT? I bet you folks are tiring of my questions?

When I first got my bike I synced the (dreaded, never to be touched) butterflies and now that I know that they are set I only sync by the vacuum screw. _________________ Rich

Thats what I was curious about? wonder how long it will take to get the TwinMax? I did get the comformation on the order but nothing about shipment other than it will be shipped USPS. I was wondering where the thick rubber side shields go I have them one for the left and right but they don't seem to fit to easy Not sure how they go in for sure any Ideas? I'm sure the left side will have to be removed wile I sync the TB's Right now I have the tank off hoping to figure out my Heated grip Problem, don't seem to be getting any power to the left grip" my Manual on CD don't show any wiring for it?
Thanks for clearing up my question about the adjustments on the TB's _________________ 1994 K1100LT Black

HGs: Pull the white plug apart - chekc the voltage - make sure the pins are properly aligned when putting it back together.
No need to remove the rubber heat shield - it cna be pushed out of the way. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
