Can the TPS be pulled apart and cleaned? I can't get it settled into an adjustment. I snap the throttle and it goes wacko. _________________ "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges"!

I thought the were sealed pretty good, like other proximity type sensors.
Drake probably has some good used ones for sale.
Ride safe.

Hello Moondog
I did open up mine the cover is glued on all the way round inside their are carbon tracks like a volume control for an amplifier , before you open it you could check it with the ohms range of a meter the slot at the back should be easy to turn and you can see the resistance changing on your meter as you operate it , I sealed mine back up and acheived nothing by opening it in the first place their is a good thread around on the forum with a picture of the insides , its very sensitive when setting it for the idle voltage
Good luck
